Aboriginal communities are being encouraged to have their say on the draft Aboriginal Water Strategy.

More than 2,500 ML of water is set to return to the environment from across Griffith and Leeton after the Australian Government green-lighted the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Urban Channel Pipelines proposal.

Aboriginal tradies are picking up their tools along with new skills as training kicks off to boost the number of qualified people who can install non-urban water meters across NSW.
