The NSW Government has recently opened The Green at Parramatta North, delivering a revitalised 8,000 square metre sportsground for community activity.
The Green is now available for use by appropriate organisations and associations for sports activities during the 2024 Winter Season (mid April to the first week of September 2024).
Expression of Interest
We invite recreational or sporting groups to submit an Expression of Interest for the potential use of this new facility for activities such as:
- Seasonal and/or casual sporting activities
- Seasonal and/or casual community gatherings
- Organised or commercial group fitness and personal training, for example bootcamp sessions
- Special events/performances including school holiday activities and school athletics carnivals.

- Over 8,000sqm of green, open space
- Provision of line markings for all winter sports inclusive of football, AFL, rugby and rugby league
- Floodlights
- Temporary amenities – female and male change rooms and toilets
- Club rooms
- Proximity to Ngara Light Rail stop, opening in 2024
- Part of the 42 ha state heritage listed Parramatta North precinct

- Please note all Expressions of Interest will be assessed according to specific evaluation criteria and calendar alignment across the Winter Season.
